About

At TeamSponsorHub, we connect grassroots sports clubs with businesses looking for meaningful, local sponsorship opportunities.

We provide clubs with access to sponsorship from businesses that have already committed a budget, helping reduce the time, pressure, and uncertainty traditionally associated with fundraising. At the same time, we give businesses a straightforward way to gain genuine local brand exposure while supporting sport at a community level.

TeamSponsorHub coordinates sponsorship opportunities and introductions, allowing funds to be paid directly between sponsors and clubs. We take no commission and do not handle sponsorship funds, keeping the process transparent, fair, and simple for everyone involved.

Our platform exists to support grassroots sport without placing additional strain on volunteers, parents, or club officials, while offering businesses a more effective and authentic alternative to traditional local advertising.

We believe grassroots sport deserves professional, well structured sponsorship support and that local businesses should see real value in backing the communities they serve.

Jake Birchall - Founder

TeamSponsorHub was created from real, lived experience both as a parent involved in grassroots sport and from the business side of sponsorship.

I have two children who are actively involved in grassroots sports, including rugby and football. Like many parents, each season brings messages from clubs asking for support not just for kits, but for tournaments, events, after-match food, tours, and essential equipment that keeps clubs running.

These requests are understandable, but over time it became clear how much pressure this places on volunteers, parents, and club officials who are already giving up their time to keep teams going.

At the same time, I saw the other side of sponsorship first hand. My wife sponsored one of the teams through her own business, and the impact was immediate. Seeing her logo on the kit created a real sense of pride, strengthened her connection to the local community, and delivered genuine brand exposure for her fashion business. It wasn’t just “advertising” it was meaningful, visible support that people noticed and appreciated.

I’ve also been involved in sport my whole life, having played rugby from the age of five. Grassroots clubs have always been a huge part of my life, and like many families, most of our weekends are spent at pitches, clubhouses, and community sports grounds.

TeamSponsorHub exists to bring these two worlds together in a better way reducing the pressure on clubs to constantly chase funding, while giving businesses a clear, honest, and effective way to support local sport and gain real local visibility. My aim is to help grassroots sport thrive, without the awkward conversations, endless fundraising, or wasted opportunities that too often hold clubs back.
